The goal of Ibrahim Traoré's government is to change the traditional model and move from simple extraction and export of raw materials to processing, certification, and increasing added value within the country.

The plant can strengthen national control over the gold supply chain, develop industrial potential, and increase the economic benefits remaining in the country.
