🧠 Grok 4.7 arrives with small jump, same price

Grok 4.7 is rolling out: according to xAI, it uses a larger base model and gets extra training on long, difficult problems that can take hours to solve. The release was reportedly delayed because the model kept giving up early and failed to check its own answers; both issues are said to be improved.

On coding benchmarks, especially Terminal-Bench, the new version looks stronger. But on AA’ Intelligence Index it only nudged up from 44 to 46, so it’s not a dramatic leap.

Pricing stays the same as Grok 4.6 at $2 / $6 per million tokens, and 4.7 is already live in Cursor, Grok Build and via the API.
