Aiôn Runes & Tarot

As a tarot trump, The World brings reminders from the macrocosmic perspective of 'the big picture'. This might be overtly objective for many people, in terms of describing unfoldings within a town or country or literally the whole of Earth. It might refer to an Aion, a qualitative epoch in time which - while less immediately discernable in itself - makes its mark inevitably known upon all physical locales which also make up 'The World'. It might even point to a much more subjective layer of the subject's own interior landscape (with its own tides and constellations) interfacing with and relating to the wider World.

In any case, The World is not one of those trumps which speaks of being an island unto oneself. In meditating on this concept, we find that we are dealing with ideas in relation to others, with connexions amongst themselves, as parts of a greater whole. Always greater than the merely individual will be the weighty matters pointed to by this card, even (especially?) when Worlds collide and compete.

Aion conducted an ancestral divination for me that brought about a deeper understanding of who my ancestors were. Each rune was explained to me in detail and how it relates to my family and me. The divination also answered questions that I may have had in regards to dealing with future endeavors.
I felt no pressure to share things I was not comfortable with, nor was I overwhelmed with any interpretations.
Highly recommend especially if you you are new to the runes.

I can't even help myself - every autumn, without fail, when the air grows cool and the gates swing open and that perfect point of memory and movement just aligns in tune with the Earth's journey far and away - I think of the Heritage Runecasting that I offer, and I plot and scheme to entice more seekers into looking deep down memory's echoing well.

The following is a recorded communication from the Dawn Goddess known to the old Lithuanians as Aušrinė, partly with hopes to inform some undertaking somewhere on the Baltic. As is proper for attempting a first communication with a given deity, I tried to bring as few presuppositions into the operation with me as possible - although it did turn out that I still had some basic assumptions which would be challenged by the goddess.

Somehow I expected a demeanour more recognizeably 'youthful' or 'joyous' as we might from our human perspective understand these things, and while 'transcendent' isn't quite perfect as a descriptor either it does still go a ways towards understanding an attitude or outlook some ways removed from what I seemed, when it came down to it, to actually expect.

Granted, the gods absolutely have their favourites, and this one might very well behave with much more warmth and familiarity for a favourite of hers rather than an unsolicited (if, I hope, very respectful) petitioner.

In any case, I still found the communication of this goddess (as well as the especially lofty and pure 'energetic signature' which seems possibly unique to each one) fascinating, and in hindsight of course also find my flawed presuppositions about 'eternity' from an all too human frame of reference painfully obvious.

In any case, here follow some communications that I'm instructed to share from Aušrinė. Perhaps, more than just to me, she is also talking here to some of you?

This Aryan god certainly does have children amongst mortals, and certainly is active in the mortal world as in so many others - but subtly, masterfully, a supreme strategist arranging chains of causality with profound craft.

Óðinn has been intimately involved in securing the Aryan Spirit's housing within the very DNA of certain lines, and whether recognized or not, some who voted 'German' in our recent Aryan Spirituality poll may well have encountered the schemer in the times and places where journeys meet.

Intro to Practical Aryan Spirituality Part IV - ब्राह्मण will be going into some detail on contacting the Aryan Gods in a more and more concrete manner, but you'd do well to remember:

Óðinn. ᚢᚦᛁᚾ. Exciter to Madness. Initiator into Fury. Spiritualization of Violence. Anger, Frenzy, Mind, Soul, paragon of Óðʀ. Champion of Man's Destiny and bane of his complacent Ignominy. Leader. Manipulator. Sovereign. Guest.

In a thousand ways and a thousand masques the knowing Áss crosses our paths, we chasing Destiny as a Lady to woo. This wandering master loves clever disguise, and often later the fellow-wanderer is taken by surprise at how cunningly cloaked the magitian's nature was - even from the wise.

This always seems to be the god's manner, preferring to teach by prompting the inner questions, demanding that his children make their own necessary sacrifices for Wisdom - or at least learn that only Nothing is free. If he spells things out simply, you're dismissed as a pawn; if you're considered as a son you'll be tricked into learning for yourself.

In answering my first question his tone was at first very enigmatic, as if first chiding and then mocking me for asking about something very obvious (for what it's worth, I asked this understanding what all we racists understand, but when enquiring in this way and seeking genuine answers you have to clear your mind of all presuppositions and simply listen as if you don't know anything). So much behind these answers isn't conveyed in the words at all but more intuitively, and I'm confident in sharing that the Old Norse term 'menn' should here be considered to encompass mainly northern people (at the very least not limited to strictly the Indo-Europæans, I'm not sure I'm comfortable extrapolating beyond Europe on that one without making a separate question of it). Interestingly, whilst Miðgarðʀ here did come with some physical connotations (I got the feeling of, again, a specific northern area rather than the globe as a whole) there was also an important 'meta' element that I would best attempt to describe as a religion(s)-and-worldview superstructure. Lots more to be uncovered there, I'm sure - as always. The Eye of Majesty I've some hints on but may keep close for now pending any interesting conversation in the comments, one more overt level of this though I'll say is simply a look in the eyes of certain people. I'll refer to Pt I of the recent 'On Matters Spiritual & Secular' essay and reiterate the understanding that there are people out there with very important pre-birth links to some of the gods, and Óðinn is definitely one of those playing that 'metagenetic' game. Each smaller statement within the High One's answer to this first question can be understood as describing a narrower and narrower group of folk in various ways and degrees related to him in this question's context.

The second question saw him warming up almost as much as Athena's revelation on "the pinnacle of Excellence in victorious strategy". Not only was it beautiful seeing something conveyed from happier times, but it was obvious that (even though I wouldn't put it past him to have strategically brought about the war in the first place for that express purpose) the Victory-father was immensely proud of the Æsir-Ꝩanir union as magnificent achievement in preparing for the hard future so far ahead. I *believe* "the Ring" he refers to may be Draupnir; Draupnir is certainly "the Ring" I asked about in my last question, following up on some recent developements in personal practice.

The third question's 'answer' was a bit flat of course, all I'll say is that I certainly didn't invent gatekeeping - it's simply the right thing to do when you've been entrusted with something sacred. To ensure the worthiness of any who come after you, and to treat it as SACRED, not as yours to just give away.

It's very possible that the Hanged God's answer to the fourth question was worded that way just to make fun of Crowley, whether or not this is so (it probably is, I don't think he misses much of anything) it's still hilarious.

The fifth question's answer is the main reason I'm so surprised at being instructed to share all this here, but I can only say that following this operation through will bring on *very* interesting times indeed. With no more exhausting prefacing from me, I'll forward here those previous notes and then transcribe these latest questions and answers.
