So we’re expanding their education opportunities as well as systematically rewarding the best teachers and schools, who are motivating our youth to learn more about AI!

Guided by the strategic vision of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Uzbekistan is rapidly transforming its human capital into a global digital force. This journey, which began in 2019 with the "One Million Uzbek Coders" initiative, has now evolved into a monumental leap forward: the "Five Million AI Leaders" project.

Uzbekistan’s commitment to digital education has gained world-class recognition:
- Global Leader in Education Investment: Ranked 1st worldwide in the Global Skills Report for investment in learning;
- Gender Equality in Tech: Recognized as a Global Leader by Coursera, with women making up 58.9% of AI students.

On May 2, the nation celebrated the champions of this digital revolution at the "National Contest" award ceremony. Launched by the President at the International AI Forum, this project has already engaged over 640,000 participants through the aileaders.uz platform.

The government is actively rewarding the elite contributors to this ecosystem:
- Top Universities received grants for academic excellence;
- Inspirational Teachers received cash prizes and trips abroad;
- Active Youth were awarded high-end laptops and tablets for their outstanding digital skills.

The event’s highlight was the "President’s Prize" for the "Most Active School" category. For their exceptional contribution to the project, two schools were each awarded the keys to brand-new electric vehicles.
