In Turkey’s prisons revolutionary prisoners are on hunger strike against the repression in the prisons.
Their demands are:
• Close down Pit-Type prisons,
• End torture and arbitrary violations of rights,
• End the imposition of the degrading criminal ID card
• Stop monitoring by cameras every hour of every day.
Cem Dursun (Grup-Yorum worker) and Tacettin Erol Sahin (Revolutionary Youth) are on their 175th day of hunger strike. Six more prisoners are following their footsteps.
We invite you to join us for a day of solidarity fast, send us your photo or video solidarity messages and if there are any Turkish representations, organise/take part in demonstrations.
