🚨 BasedApp Card data incident: what to do

The real risks
• Your linked wallet (hopefully you used an already doxxed wallet) is now tied to your real name + home address
• Scammers can quote your real NRIC/address to sound legit

List of to-dos
• Stop using the linked wallet for anything meaningful and discard this wallet (after you route funds to a CEX to wash)
• Most important, stop SMS 2FA everywhere. Switch to an authenticator app or passkeys. Your name + NRIC + DOB + phone is enough to attempt a SIM swap
• Secure Telegram (Settings → Privacy & Security → turn on Two-Step Verification (password). Set phone number visibility to Nobody)
• If you are in Singapore, make sure to turn on passkeys for your Singpass
• Ignore any cold call or messages for now
• Install the ScamShield app
