Scammers have become more active on Telegram, hacking accounts using the EvilLoader virus. They steal Android users’ data by sending video links.

How does the scam work?
1. A fake account messages you and sends a video.
2. When you try to play the video, an error appears.
3. You are prompted to open the file in a browser, but instead of a video, a virus is downloaded.
4. EvilLoader gains access to your passwords and can hack your Telegram account.

How to protect yourself?
❗ Do not open suspicious links or files, even if they come from someone you know.
❗ Verify the sender – scammers often copy names and profile pictures of friends.
❗ Enable two-factor authentication in Telegram.
❗ Use antivirus software to protect your device.
