In September 2023, a judge ruled that a policy preventing parents from knowing about their own child’s gender identity in school constitutes a “trifecta of harm” against parents, teachers, and students and violates the U.S. Constitution.

The question judges must grapple with in all of these cases is whether parents have a fundamental right to know if their child is suffering from gender dysphoria.
