Ledger is investigating losses from users in South East Asia who bought devices from reseller CryptoBillis, and has asked it to pause all sales and shipments.
On-chain analyst Specter traced the theft addresses and found inflows from hundreds of victim wallets across Ethereum, Tron and Bitcoin, with losses of $86M+. Ledger has not confirmed the total or said how the funds were taken.
Bought a Ledger from CryptoBillis in the last 90 days? Do not set it up. If you already did, move your assets to a new Ledger signer with a new seed.
