- в основном - ткани (синтетическая кожа, деним, лён, хлопок и др.);

Colormass has opened access to 177 free material scans!
The company Colormass shared a cool selection: now available in open access are 177 material scans from their own library. They can be used in both personal and commercial projects.
What's inside:
- mostly fabrics (synthetic leather, denim, linen, cotton, etc.);
- also wood, glass, ceramics, tiles, organic materials, and much more.
The feature of the scans is the svBRDF technology: the scanner performs thousands of measurements and accurately reproduces the physical properties of the surface.
Each set consists of 8 maps (diffuse, normal, roughness, specular, metalness, and others), ready for PBR rendering.
How it's done: the sample moves under the camera on a moving table, the data is sent to the cloud, where the final material is calculated in 8–12 hours.
The resolution is up to 800 DPI, and a texture from a 40×40 cm sample results in a size of approximately 13 000×13 000 pixels.
By the way, you can order a scan of your own sample via Patreon, provided that it is added to the general library.
