basically there's a bunch of new other rules, few important ones being you can't do an off campus internship unless ur major requires u to do so, if u do want one u have to apply for pre completion OPT (about $470 fee) up to 90 days before your internship start date and this process will take about 2-3 months (basically you'll find out whether u can do an internship or not at the start of it). you can still apply for pre completion opt before securing the internship but its a gamble coz of the fee and whether they'll approve it. freshmen can't change their major or transfer in their first year. senior students only got a month after graduation to secure a job and get the docs sorted out (it was 2 months before)
