🏆 Rette — Startup of the Year!
Kazakhstani HealthTech startup Rette (Defect AI) has won the Startup of the Year award at the AI & Digital Bridge Awards 2026.
The team develops AI solutions that help clinics review medical documentation, identify errors, and reduce administrative workloads — giving healthcare professionals more time for patients.
Rette’s journey includes graduating from the NURIS ABC Incubation and Quick Start programs, completing SITF’s Go Abroad program, winning Social Startup 2025 with grant support from NU Impact Foundation, and securing investment from JAS Ventures.
Through the partnership with Nazarbayev University Science & Technology Park (NU STeP), the team joined the StartX Spring 2026 cohort. Rette was also selected for Mayo Clinic Platform_Accelerate in 2026.
